About TaraSakay

TaraSakay is a Filipino peer-to-peer car sharing platform that connects car owners with people who need a reliable ride. Whether you need a vehicle for a weekend road trip, a family outing, or a business errand, TaraSakay makes it easy to find the right car at the right price — no traditional rental desk required.

Our platform is built for Filipinos, by Filipinos. We understand the unique needs of local travellers — from navigating busy Metro Manila streets to exploring the scenic routes of the provinces. TaraSakay supports a wide range of vehicles including sedans, SUVs, vans, trucks, and electric cars, all listed by trusted community hosts across the Philippines.

For car owners, TaraSakay is a smart way to earn extra income from a vehicle that would otherwise sit idle. Hosts set their own schedules, prices, and rules. Our built-in messaging, booking management, and host dashboard make it simple to manage your listings and communicate with renters.

For renters, browsing is free and booking is straightforward. You can filter by location, vehicle type, transmission, and price, then book directly through the platform with transparent pricing and no hidden fees.

TaraSakay is committed to building a safe and trustworthy community. All listings go through an admin review process, and hosts and renters can leave reviews after every trip to help others make informed decisions.

We're a small but passionate team dedicated to making car sharing accessible and enjoyable for every Filipino. Tara, sakay na!
